For many of the Patriots, family is everything, and Sunday proved to be a big day to celebrate the men who have supported them throughout their lives. They also took the day to reflect on their own journeys as fathers to their own families.

Their fathers have instilled in them from a young age unforgettable lessons of hard work and dedication to their craft that we see as fans on game day. From his father, Ted Jr., Ted Karras learned to be extraordinary because there is always someone there to take your spot.

While passing on valuable life lessons is an important part of the job, providing countless moments of laughter and days of joy also rank high on the list of things that fathers do. Some of the guys have a well-documented close ties with their families like Tom Brady and his dad, and Tom shared precious moments on Instagram.

In the case of Rex Burkhead, the weekend was a special celebration. He and his wife Danielle announced they are expecting a son in November, and what better weekend to share the news?

Take a look at how the Patriots celebrated their fathers and their own journey as dads this past weekend.
