On Friday, November 20, 2015 Junior and Patriots Cheerleaders, along with Pat Patriot, gathered at Patriot Place to celebrate the lighting of the Holiday Giving Tree. The giving tree holds special ornaments for the Cradles to Crayons organization. Each ornament contains a holiday request from a child in need. The Junior and Patriots Cheerleaders gathered around the giving tree and passed out candy canes to Patriot Place spectators, also encouraging them to take an ornament. They sang Christmas carols and Hanukkah songs with guests, Pat Patriot, Santa and Mrs. Claus, and even Rudolph! Following the sing-a-long, the Junior Cheerleaders and Patriots Cheerleaders made their way to the Patriot Place Winter Skate for an evening of ice skating right next to Gillette Stadium. Photos from the appearance can be seen **here**
Throughout the holiday season, Patriot Place guests are invited to take an ornament from the giving tree and purchase the child's request. Gifts can be brought to the Patriot Place Management Office, or any participating Patriot Place tenants. The Junior and Patriots Cheerleaders enjoyed supporting this cause and encourage others to visit the Giving Tree.
Happy Holidays!
