Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com reports that center Ryan Wendell's free agent market has been cold thus far, as the former Patriot has yet to visit any other clubs this offseason.
"Perhaps some teams have reservations about Wendell's size and seeing him overpowered at times, but he's a heady, scrappy competitor who, at the least, could be a valuable sixth or seventh blocker (reserve center/guard) on the 46-man game-day roster," adds Reiss. Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun reports that free agent RB LeGarrette Blount will now visit with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday after reports previously stated that the former Patriot would be visiting this past Sunday.
Aaron Wilson also reports that the Baltimore Ravens also have interest in LeGarrette Blount, although no visit is scheduled for this time.
"The Ravens could use Blount as a short-yardage back to complement former Pro Bowl runner Ray Rice," writes Wilson. "Blount could also fill in for Rice if he is disciplined by the NFL for his involvement in a domestic dispute last month." READ MORE>>
