ALAMEDA, Calif. (March 31, 2005) -- Fullback Rob Konrad and defensive lineman Kenny Smith signed with the Oakland Raiders.

Konrad spent his first six seasons with the Miami Dolphins, who drafted him in 1999. He was a five-year starter for Miami, but he missed six games and made only one start last season while battling injuries to his back and thigh.

Miami released Konrad on March 14.

Smith played in 30 games over the past four seasons with the New Orleans Saints, but missed all of last season with a torn rotator cuff.
