The 2019 New England Patriots Cheerleaders traveled to Berlin, Massachusetts to spend an afternoon at Boundless Adventures. Boundless Adventures is an aerial adventure park that features various challenges to navigate up in the air. The adventure park gives anyone of any skill level a chance to zip line and traverse through a variety of obstacles. Boundless Adventures has three locations, found in Massachusetts, New York and Wisconsin.
While some cheerleaders were excited to climb up high and get out on the course, others were a bit more intimidated. The daredevils quickly conquered the lower courses and moved on to the higher ones, while cheering on their more nervous teammates. Words of encouragement were often heard, being shouted across the park as they raced across wobbly blocks and metal hoops more than a hundred feet in the air. Every squad member navigated their way through interesting obstacles and down zip-lines to complete at least one of the nine available courses, with some setting a goal to try each of the skill levels offered.
The purpose of the event was to continue to grow the Patriots Cheerleaders' team bond and at the same time, to get everyone out and moving on a Sunday afternoon when the Patriots had a Monday night game on the road. The outing also helped to promote the Patriots Cheerleaders' "focus on fitness", encouraging healthy and active lifestyles. More than a few cheerleaders found themselves tired and maybe even a little sore after two-plus hours of climbing and balancing. The trip to Boundless Adventures was a great way to have fun while being active and working up a sweat. The squad is already planning their next trip in the spring! Special thanks to the Boundless Adventure staff for making the entire team feel welcome and safe throughout the afternoon!
