Although QB Tom Brady'scomeback remains the top headline entering the 2009 season, another concern is unfolding for the team. After the secondary allowed 38 pass plays of 20 yards or more throughout last season, they must improve for the team to be successful. Furthermore, it will supply more offensive possessions for Brady's arsenal. According to a story by The Enterprise, newly-acquired veteran cornerbacks Shawn Springsand Leigh Boddenshould assume the duties in the secondary replacing Ellis Hobbsand Deltha O'Neal. Additionally, expect the Patriots to implement rookie SS Patrick Chungand CB Darius Butlerfor early exposure.
