Entering his fourth season with the Patriots, RBLaurence Maroneyhas heard it all. Critics have questioned his physical toughness and vision as major flaws in his game. However, according to a *Boston Globe *story, Maroney is trying to silence his skeptics by utilizing his youth and with help from veteran RB Fred Taylor. "I'm still young. I still got time," said Maroney. "Learning from Fred is definitely a great thing. I’m just out here to do a job and that’s play football, so whether I start or don’t start, I’m going to be happy as long as I have a chance to go out there and have fun.”
Maroney will try to play in all 16 regular season games this year, a feat he has yet to accomplish. Read additional comments from Maroney here and see what Head Coach Bill Belichick said about the young back.
