Seems we've seen the last of Eugene Wilson in a Patriots uniform.
"I'm looking forward to moving on, and at the same time, I wish the best of luck to the Patriots because I don't think I'll be back there this year," Wilson told The Boston Globe this week.
Wilson went on to say he's "excited" about seeing who's interested in him on the free agent market.
While Wilson's on his way out, could Ty Law be on his way back in?
Law was spotted a Celtics game this week and had this to say when asked about the possibility.
"Hey, you know what? My heart was always with the Patriots. I always have been. This is where it all started for me."
Today's Boston Herald offers more quotes from Law and goes into more detail on his situation.
And what about Randy Moss? With so many other teams immediately using their franchise tags on their most coveted players, much speculation has arisen since New England didn't apply theirs to Moss.
"There have been whispers in recent days about the Dallas Cowboys perhaps being interested in signing Moss to play alongside Terrell Owens," wrote today's Washington Post, "but most knowledgeable observers seem to be dismissing that as a long shot at best."
The* Post* feels Moss is poised to re-sign with New England as early as tomorrow, when free agency officialy begins.
