It was more than four months ago that confetti rained down on the Patriots as they hoisted their fifth Lombardi trophy, but the celebration didn't stop after the parade on Feb. 7. The Super Bowl LI champions put a ring on a season to remember Friday night with the team's official ring ceremony, and it was incredible night in Patriots Nation.
Before the ceremony even began, the Patriots were taking to Twitter to share their excitement. Nate Ebner and Eric Rowe took a moment to appreciate what the night would mean, while Dont'a Hightower killed it with a well-timed "Lord of the Rings" gif.
When they arrived at Robert Kraft's home for the ring ceremony, the feeling of excitement was only amplified. With the Super Bowl LI champions reunited one more time, the Patriots had a blast. They snapped selfies with their new Super Bowl rings, which they fought tirelessly for all season long, danced along to Snoop Dogg and Gucci Mane and celebrated, yet again, their special championship season.
Nate Ebner added his ring to a truly one-of-a-kind collection. Martellus Bennett came back to New England for the ceremony and gawked over Tom Brady's full hand of diamonds. With five rings, Tom slowly counted and showed each one to Marty's camera for the moment Boston sports fans have been waiting to see.
With the final number in the lock combination, confetti streamed down over the Patriots, a familiar feeling for this team. The pure joy was evident on the players' faces. Whether it was a player's first Super Bowl ring or a certain GOAT's fifth, the players beamed with pride as they took in the moment and broke down the huddle with one final "Awww, yeah!"
The ring ceremony is a moment in Patriots history we won't soon forget, and you don't want to miss a second of Friday night's action. Check out all of the players' photos in the gallery below and the Patriots ring ceremony Twitter moment.
