FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that they have placed DB Eric Rowe on Injured Reserve.
Rowe, 26, played in four games in 2018, including starts at cornerback in the first two games, and registered nine total tackles and one pass defensed. After entering the NFL as a fourth-round draft pick (47th overall) by Philadelphia out of Utah in the 2015 NFL Draft, Rowe was acquired by the Patriots in a trade in exchange for 2018 fourth-round draft selection. In two-plus seasons with New England, Rowe has appeared in 21 regular-season games with 12 starts and registered 49 tackles, one interception and 11 passes defensed. He has also played in six postseason contests with two starts and posted 24 tackles, one interception and six passes defensed.
