Patriots Release DL Landon Cohen

The New England Patriots have released DL Landon Cohen.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots released DL Landon Cohen today.

Cohen, 6-3, 300 pounds, went to training camp with the Patriots this past summer but was released on September 3 before being re-signed on September 21. He played in a reserve role last Sunday at Buffalo.

Cohen was originally signed by the Patriots on December 22, 2010 and played in two games with one start, finishing with four tackles. He is a veteran of three NFL seasons after spending time with the Detroit Lions (2008-09), Jacksonville Jaguars (2010) and Patriots (2010). Cohen entered the NFL as a seventh-round draft pick by Detroit in 2008 NFL of Ohio.
