FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that they have released G Nate Theaker. Theaker was signed by the Patriots on July 24, 2018. 

Theaker, 24, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Dallas Cowboys on May 12, 2017, out of Wayne State. The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder, spent time last season on the Dallas and New Orleans practice squads. He was released by New Orleans on May 7, 2018. Theaker played in 42 games with 33 starts in college, 14 at right guard, 11 at left tackle and eight at right tackle.
