FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today the signing of seventh-round draft choice WR Jeremy Ebert. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Ebert, a wide receiver from Northwestern, was selected by the Patriots in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft with the 235th selection overall.
Ebert, 6-0, 195 pounds, played in 52 games with 30 starts at Northwestern and finished his college career with 173 receptions for 2,400 yards and 21 touchdowns. He played in all 13 games in 2008 as a true freshman and was a starter in his final two seasons. Last season, he started all 13 games and led the team with 75 receptions for 1,060 yards and 11 touchdowns.
