FOXBOROUGH, Mass.- The New England Patriots announced the release of first-year wide receiver T.C. Taylor today.
Taylor, 24, originally signed with the Patriots as a non-drafted rookie free agent on April 26, 2002. He spent five weeks on the Patriots practice squad before being released. The 6-foot-4-inch, 220-pound receiver was re-signed after the season and allocated to NFL Europe. Taylor attended Jackson State, where he played quarterback before making the transition to wide receiver during his junior year.
