FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots waived offensive lineman Marques McFadden today. McFadden, 24, was claimed by the Patriots on Aug. 13 after being waived by the Dallas Cowboys. The 6-foot-5-inch, 320-pound offensive lineman originally signed with the Green Bay Packers as a rookie free agent in 2001. He was released on Aug. 27, 2001 and was out of football during his rookie year. He signed with the Falcons on Jan. 30, 2002, but was released during training camp. He was signed to the Falcons' practice squad in September, where he spent the opening month of the season before signing with the Cowboys. He appeared in five games before an injury landed him on injured reserve for the remainder of the season.
