NATICK, MA - If the New England Patriots "take it to the house" more than 75 times this season, one lucky Pats fan will be able to buy a new one! RE/MAX of New England and the Patriots have announced the launch of the "RE/MAX Takes You to the House" program, that will award one lucky Patriots fan $500,000 towards the purchase of a new home if the Patriots can break their single-season team touchdown record of 75 set in 2007.
"We could not be more excited to announce the 'RE/MAX Takes You to the House' program with the Patriots," RE/MAX of New England Executive Vice President Jay Hummer said. "This is a one-of-a-kind program that will change the live of the winner with money toward a new home. The program will certainly make Sundays much more interesting this season, and I will be rooting hard for a record-breaking year by the Patriots."
After using the half-million dollars to purchase the new home, there is another great prize from RE/MAX and the Patriots, a dedication ceremony.
Patriots Wide Receiver Julian Edelman stars in a thirty-second video promoting the program; "I'm thrilled to be a part of program that could award someone money for a new home," Patriots Wide Receiver Julian Edelman said. "I would like to thank RE/MAX of New England for including me in the program. I'll be doing my best to help break that record and get to dedicate someone's new home."
To enter the "RE/MAX Takes You to the House" program, fans must complete a 500 word essay explaining how winning $500,000 toward a new home will make a difference in their lives. Essays and applications can be submitted online at www.remax-newengland.com. Entrants must be 18 years or older and the promotion is open to residents of the six New England states. A special selection committee consisting of local media members and RE/MAX employees will determine the winner of the contest. Deadline for entrees is January 2, 2011.
