In addition to Ryan Grant and Tim Hightower, New England also hosted veteran free agent running back Joseph Addai this week. The news was first reported by The Boston Globe's Shalise Manza Young.

A first-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts back in 2006, Addai was released by Indy last month after several mostly productive, if oft-injured, years.

The soon-to-be-29-year-old has a Pro Bowl and a Super Bowl championship under his belt.
