Rob Gronkowski named host of Crashletes, new Nickelodeon show

Gronk takes his talents to television as host of new Nickelodeon show.

It's no secret that Rob Gronkowski has a flare for funny. Now, he has a chance to show off his best jokes as host of a new show on Nickelodeon.

Nickelodeon recently announced that Gronk would host the network's newest clip show, Crashletes. The show consists of viral videos of athletic feats gone awry with the tight end's comedic commentary.

"It's about athletes that didn't make it pro," Gronk said in a video posted by ThePostGame website. "We're showing them fall, wipe out, making jokes about it. We're just having a blast. We're having a fun time."

Gronk took to Twitter to celebrate completing 15 episodes, one of which includes his family as special guests.

One of the NFL's greatest football families was on set for the first day of filming Crashletes and talked to ThePostGame about growing up Gronk, fighting for the last chicken wing and Channing Tatum.

Gronk said Crashletes will be "one of the best shows on Nickelodeon." And for the athletes whose fails, falls and flails are showcased, Gronk is definitely laughing with you, not at you.
