FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced today S Ross Ventrone has been signed to the practice squad and DB Josh Victorian has been released from the practice squad.
Ventrone, 25, has spent time on both the practice squad and 53-man roster this season, playing in five games. Ventrone, 5-8, 190 pounds, was originally signed by the Patriots as a rookie free agent out of Villanova on April 29, 2010. He spent the majority of his rookie season in 2010 on the New England practice squad.
Victorian, 23, has had four stints on the New England practice squad this season. He went to training camp with Baltimore after signing with the Ravens as a rookie free agent out of Louisiana Tech on July 28, 2011. Victorian, 5-10, 190 pounds, originally joined the Patriots practice squad on Sept. 22, 2011.
