Q: You were one of the guys to step up today, especially in the second half.
SV: Yeah, we were able to get some matchups that favored us and we were able to exploit them and make some plays.
Q: As comebacks go, how do you rate that one?
SV: That's tough. That really is. As far as my games have been concerned, that was probably the most gut-wrenching one of them all because it went down literally to the last second. It was a good team win. We were able to put it together in the second half well enough to come out with a victory.
Q: How does that happen? When Cleveland scored that last touchdown, it didn't look good for you.
SV: No, but that's the attitude of our team: we're not done until the clock says zero. Down but never out. When you've got Tom [Brady] as your quarterback, you know you've always got a shot.
Q: What has this season been like for you? You had a strong first game and then were out for so long.
SV: It's been a roller coaster ride. A lot of peaks and valleys, but that's football and that's how it goes. I'm just happy to be here now. I'm happy that I can be a part of the team.
Q: Rob Gronkowski has also gone through some peaks and valleys. What are your thoughts on him, especially seeing him get carted off?
SV: My heart and my prayers are with him. It's tough to see, not just a teammate but a good friend, go through the things that he has gone through. He wants to be out here just as much, if not more, than anybody else. He truly loves the game of football and to see him take a shot and go down, it kind of kills us a little bit. But we know he'll be back. He's a fighter.
Q: Do you guys expect that? It seems like it's trending that way to avoid head shots. Do you, as offensive weapons, have to protect your lower body more now and are you being taught different things?
SV: I think, yeah, it's always in the back of my head, personally. It's definitely something I look out for and when you watch film, you know the players and the way they tackle. Some guys like to go low and some guys will stay up a little bit. You know – I know personally going into a game the way that most DBs and secondary guys tackle.
Q: How has your chemistry developed with Tom Brady?
SV: It's growing, it's growing. It's getting better. I think today we were pretty much on the same page for the most part, but it can always get better. I missed a couple throws. It's growing, it's going to get better and we're going to work on it.
Q: You were used as kind of a situational back but now you're being used a lot more in every situation. What's the difference or challenge there?
SV: It's just more. It's just more that I have to focus on, but it's the game of football and that's what they asked me to do, so that's what I'm going to be prepared to do.
Q: Did your offense do anything differently in the last two and half minutes or was it just execution?
SV: I think it was just execution. I wish I had a better answer, but I think it really just came down to execution and moving the ball and taking it one play at a time.
Q: Were you able to see the onside kick?
SV: Yeah, I was standing right there. I was just jumping for joy at the fact that we got the ball back…and then I realized that we had to go out on offense, so I composed myself and went out there.
Q: How does doubt not set in when you're down two scores with under two minutes to play, or does it?
SV: I think whenever we have the ball and we know that there's time left on the clock, you look at the clock and say, 'Quick score, we can do it.' I think that's all we really need and luckily we were able to put it together.
Q: You set a career-high in receiving yards. What's been the biggest factor in developing that part of your game?
SV: Helping the team win. I mean, if I had to catch the ball in order for us to win the game and make some plays throughout the year, then that's what, hopefully, I'll be able to do going forward. Really, it's all about the team and it's all about getting a victory.
