Special Olympics Rhode Island's 22nd Annual Sports Celebrity Carnival Update

Special Olympics Rhode Island's 22nd Annual Sports Celebrity Carnival is back again! This year's spectacular event will be held on Friday, February 4, 2000 at the Rhode Island Convention Center, from 5:00pm - 10:00pm. General admission is $5.00 per person.

Group rates are available by calling the Special Olympics office at (401)823-7411.

Come and meet today's hottest stars such as this year's Honorary Chairperson, Steve Israel of the New England Patriots. Joining Steve Is fellow teammate, Sean Morey, along with Eric Dickerson, NFL Hall of Fame; Nate "Tiny" Archibald from ESPN Classics and former Boston Celtics; Rico Petrocelli, from ESPN Classics and former Boston Red Sox; Brian Rose, Boston Red Sox; Ken Ryan, Kansas City Royals; Franco Carlotto, Mr. World Fitness 1999 and WWF superstars... Prince Albert and the Dudley Boyz.

Over 8,000 sports ~ns are expected to join Master of Ceremonies, John "Coach" Colletto of Sportsradio 790 "The Score", for a night of autographs, pictures, games and family fun, all for the benefit of Special Olympics Rhode Island.
