Gostkowski was the NFL's scoring leader in 2013 when he set a franchise record with 158 points, surpassing Gin Cappelletti's 155 in 1964. His 38 field goals was a career and franchise best and he missed only three attempts for a .927 percentage, second only to Adam Vinatieri's .939 (31-of-33) in 2004. Gostkowski's career .856 percentage is the best in team history.
He will enter the 2014 season with 1,023 career points and needing 126 points to surpass Vinatieri as the team's all-time scoring leader. He also holds the franchise record for consecutive games with at least one point with 107. Vinatieri and John Smith are tied for second with 101.
