Tom Brady officially announced he will be joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday morning via his Instagram account. After a few days of Patriots fans hoping a deal might somehow fall apart and that Brady might return to the Patriots, it's now a done deal that he will take his talents to Florida.
Brady will join head coach Bruce Arians and his young and talented team, headlined by receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin who combined for 153 catches and 17 touchdowns in 2019. His two games per season against Drew Brees and the Saints will be exciting matchups as Brady instantly gives Tampa Bay a boost in national attention. The Bucs will also take on Patrick Mahomes and the Super Bowl champion Chiefs in what is sure to be a must-watch matchup this fall.
The Buccaneers are scheduled to visit the Patriots in 2021.
