Antonio Gibson was signed by the New England Patriots as an unrestricted free agent from Washington on March 14, 2024 ... Originally drafted by Washington in the third round (66th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.

2024 (13/2)

Made his Patriot debut, rushing for 18 yards on 7 attempts in the season opener at Cincinnati (9/8). Also contributed on special teams for 3 snaps.
Rushed for 96 yards on 11 attempts vs. Seattle (9/15), averaging 8.7 yards-per carry, the highest average in his career where he had at least 10 carries. Recorded a career-long 45 yard rush in the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter at San Francisco (9/29), caught a 14-yard pass from QB Jacoby Brissett and added 36 yards after the catch for a 50-yard gain. It is the second-longest reception of his career, behind only his 73-yard touchdown at Buffalo on Sept. 26, 2021.
Earned his first-career start as a Patriot vs. Miami (10/6), contributing to a new team record for rushing average (7.9 yards) off of 19 carries for 151 yards. The previous team record was a 7.8-yard rushing average when the team rushed 25 times for 196 yards vs. Miami on Dec. 23, 2007. Returned a kickoff 24 yards in the third quarter.

Played in 16 games with 2 starts, totaling 48 receptions for 389 yards and 2 touchdowns and 65 rushing attempts for 265 yards and 1 touchdown. Also returned 14 kickoffs for 340 yards.
Started at running back in back-to-back weeks at L.A. Rams (12/17) and at N.Y. Jets (12/24).

Played in 15 games with 6 starts and finished with 149 rushing attempts for 546 yards with 3 touchdowns and 46 receptions for 353 yards with 2 touchdowns.
