Was good on a 44-yard field goal attempt at the New York Jets (9/19), scoring the team's only points on the day.
Set a franchise record with a 63-yard field goal at the end of the second quarter at San Francisco (9/29), a new career-long, which tied for the fourth-longest field goal in NFL history and broke the previous franchise record of 62 yards by K Stephen Gostkowski at Oakland on Nov. 19, 2017 in Mexico City. Slye's previous best was a 61-yard field goal vs. Philadelphia on Oct. 29, 2023, when he played for Washington. Joined Gostkowski as the only Patriots kickers to ever make a 60-yard field goal. Originally was signed by the New York Giants as a rookie free agent and signed with Carolina after being released by the Giants.
Played in all 16 games and made 25-of-32 field goals and 31-of-35 extra points for 106 total points. Also handled kickoff duties with 66 of 69 kicks going for touchbacks.
Tallied a season-high 14 points by connecting on all four field-goal attempts and two extra points at New England (10/21). Kicked a season-long 54-yard field goal.

Slye was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico but grew up in Stafford, Virginia.
Attended North Stafford High School, where he played high school football.
Slye was named all-state as both a kicker and as a linebacker for the Wolverines.
