  • April 18 - Signing period ends for restricted free agents
  • April 25 - Deadline for old club to exercise right of first refusal to restricted free agents
  • April 26 - NFL Draft Rounds 1-2
  • April 27 - NFL Draft Rounds 3-7

MAY, 2008

  • May 2-4 - Patriots Rookie Minicamp
  • May 19-21 - NFL Spring Meeting, Buckhead, Ga.

JUNE, 2008

  • June 6-8 - Patriots Full Squad Minicamp
  • June 9 - Patriots Charitable Foundation

Golf Tournament

  • June 29-July 2 - NFL Rookie Symposium, Carlsbad, Calif.

JULY, 2008

  • Late July - Training camps open

AUGUST, 2008

  • August 2 - Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony (LB Andre Tippett enshrined)
  • August 7-11 - First Preseason Weekend
  • August 14-18 - Second Preseason Weekend
  • August 21-25 - Third Preseason Weekend
  • August 26 - Roster cutdown to maximum of 75 players
  • August 27-29 - Fourth Preseason Weekend
  • August 30 - Roster cutdown to maximum of 53 players

  • September 4-8 - Kickoff 2008 Weekend
