Game Notes: Tom Brady ties Brett Favre for most TDs thrown with one team

TEAM NOTES 

PATRIOTS DEFENSE SCORES TOUCHDOWN FOR SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK
LB Jamie Collins scored on a 14-yard fumble return that was caused on a sack by DL Jabaal Sheard in the third quarter. It is the second straight week that the Patriots defense has scored a touchdown. Last week in the win vs. Tennessee, DE Chandler Jones forced a fumble that was recovered in the end zone by DE Akiem Hicks for a touchdown. It is the first touchdown of Collins' career. 

PATRIOTS HAVE A SACK IN EVERY GAME SO FAR IN 2015; PUSH STREAK TO 28 GAMES WITH AT LEAST ONE SACK
The Patriots have recorded at least one sack in every game so far in 2015. The Patriots finished with a sack in every game in 1979, 1977, 1973 and 1963. They had one sack against the Jets. The Patriots have streak of 28 straight games with at least one sack, the longest streak in the NFL. The last time the Patriots did not have a sack was vs. Oakland on Sept. 21, 2014. 

PATRIOTS TIE RECORD FOR MOST SACKS UNDER BELICHICK
The Patriots defense has 48 sacks in 2015 through 15 games. It ties the 48 the Patriots had in 2013 for the most sacks under Bill Belichick. The Patriots' record for most sacks in a season is 66 in 1963.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES 

BRADY TIES BRETT FAVRE FOR MOST TDS THROWN WITH ONE TEAM
Tom Brady's 9-yard touchdown pass to RB James white in the fourth quarter was his 481st overall touchdown with the Patriots, tying Brett Favre for the most touchdowns overall with one team in NFL history. 

TOM BRADY GETTING CLOSE TO SECOND CAREER 5,000-YARD SEASON
Tom Brady has 4,636 yards passing through 15 games in 2015. Brady needs 364 yards in the regular-season finale to reach 5,000 yards for the second time in his career.

JAMIE COLLINS TIES TEAM MARK WITH FIFTH FORCED FUMBLE
LB Jamie Collins tied a team mark with his fifth forced fumble of the season. Rob Ninkovich (2012), Brandon spikes (2012) and Mike Vrabel (2007) each had five forced fumbles in a season. Chandler Jones and Jabaal Sheard each have four forced fumbles this season. 

GRONKOWSKI BECOMES PAST ALL-TIME  TIGHT END LEADER IN YARDS
Gronkowski entered the game needing 21 yards to pass Ben Coates (5,471) for the most receiving yards by a Patriots tight end. He passed Coates on a 30-yard reception in the second quarter. After finishing with 86 yards, Gronkowski now has 5,537 career receiving yards. 

LINEUP NOTES

RB STEVEN JACKSON SEES FIST ACTION AS A PATRIOT
RB Steven Jackson played in his first game as a member of the Patriots. His first carry was a 5-yard run for a first down on a second-and-4 in the second quarter. 

OL LAADRIAN WADDLE PLAYS IN FIRST GAME WITH THE PATRIOTS
OL LaAdrian Waddle played in his first game with the Patriots when he entered the game at left tackle after Sebastian Vollmer left with a leg injury.  

BRYAN STORK RETURNS TO THE STARTING LINEUP
Bryan Stork returned to the starting lineup after missing last week's game. 

KESHAWN MARTIN HAS CAREER DAY
WR Keshawn Martin set career highs with seven receptions for 68 yards.
