FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - While the Patriots are busy doing their jobs to prepare for an AFC Divisional Round game on Saturday, Jan. 16 at Gillette Stadium, The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon is doing its job to get fans ready for the playoffs by kicking off Wild Card Weekend with free admission from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9.
"For anyone missing Patriots football while the team is on a first-round playoff bye this weekend, we are opening our doors to give fans a chance to revel in and relive some of the greatest postseason moments in franchise history leading up to kickoff of the AFC Wild Card game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans," said Hall Executive Director Bryan Morry. "With interactive exhibits like Adam Vinatieri's legendary snow kick against the Oakland Raiders in the 2001-02 AFC Divisional Round, Malcolm Butler's game-winning interception in Super Bowl XLIX and the four Lombardi Trophies, The Hall has everything a fan needs to get excited for another postseason in New England."
Fans are encouraged to visit The Hall from noon to 4 p.m. on Jan. 9 to show their support for the Patriots by filming their "Let's Go" playoff videos and upload them to **www.Patriots.com/letsgo**.
The Hall will also be hosting the "Playoff Huddle," an hour-long question and answer forum featuring former Patriots assistant coach Dante Scarnecchia and ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss from 1-2 p.m. in the Raytheon Theatre. The duo will chat with fans about the Patriots latest playoff berth after the team clinched its seventh consecutive AFC East division title this season with a 12-4 record and earned its sixth consecutive first-round playoff bye.
"With the AFC Wild Card games kicking off later in the day, we thought this would be a great time for fans to come in before the action starts and get their fill of Patriots football talk," Morry said.
Elsewhere around Patriot Place, CBS Scene Restaurant & Bar will be hosting a Patriots playoff ticket giveaway from 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8 to close on Sunday, Jan. 10. Guests who visit the restaurant can enter to win two tickets to the Patriots' Jan. 16 Divisional Round playoff game at Gillette Stadium (kickoff is 4:35 p.m.).
