FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – When the New England Patriots begin the 2024 preseason against the Carolina Panthers on August 8 at Gillette Stadium, there will be a new broadcast team on WBZ TV 4 in Boston and the Patriots Preseason Network affiliates throughout New England.

Devin and Jason McCourty will headline a new broadcast booth for both of the locally produced Patriots preseason games, joining veteran color analyst and former Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak. It will be the first time three former Patriots players will be responsible for calling Patriots games, providing distinct discussion, insight and analysis. Last year, the McCourty twins called their first Patriots games during the preseason, offering an alternate-viewing simulcast called "The McCourty TwinCast." The Patriots third preseason game at Washington on Sunday, Aug. 25 will be nationally televised on NBC.

"We really enjoyed the experience of calling the preseason games together last year and look forward to working with Scott Zolak this year," said Devin McCourty. "No one brings more passion, energy, or has more fun calling Patriots games than Zo. We look forward to sharing our opinions, some game analysis and personal anecdotes with Patriots fans throughout the broadcasts. I think it will be a lot of fun and hope our fans enjoy it as much as we do."

"I am really looking forward to watching the Patriots this preseason," said Jason McCourty. "With a new coaching staff and a lot of new players, there is a lot of interest and intrigue entering the 2024 season. There are a lot of roles to fill. I am eager to see who makes the most of their opportunities and excels during the preseason. It will be fun to join Devin and Zo and share our thoughts with Patriots fans."

Devin was drafted by the Patriots in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft and spent the next 13 seasons helping them win three more Super Bowl titles. Devin retired from the Patriots following the 2022 season and joined NBC as a co-host on their Football Night in America broadcast team. Jason was originally drafted by the Titans in 2009 and spent eight seasons in Tennessee before signing with the Cleveland Browns in 2017. Jason joined Devin in New England in 2018 and helped the Patriots to their sixth overall Super Bowl championship. In 2018, the twins launched a successful podcast called "Double Coverage with the McCourty Twins." The McCourtys served as hosts and interviewed a wide variety of guests. Jason retired after the 2021 season with the Miami Dolphins and spent two years as a morning co-host on NFL Network's Good Morning Football. He also provides color commentary as a game analyst for NFL and college games.

"I am excited to join Devin and Jason in the booth," said Zolak. "It was a thrill to be able to call so many of their games during their careers, especially Super Bowl LIII. I look forward to talking to them about their many experiences and to get their perspectives on what the current players are experiencing as they battle for roster positions."

"We are always eager to try new things during the preseason broadcasts," said Matt Smith, senior executive producer of Kraft Sports + Entertainment. "Last year, we introduced an alternate broadcast with 'The McCourty TwinCast' and I thought they were excellent together. They are both such great conversationalists and provide such interesting insight. I look forward to pairing them with Scott Zolak. I am sure Patriots fans will enjoy their banter throughout the games."

In addition, former Patriots quarterback Brian Hoyer will join Patriots senior editor Paul Perillo in the Bobs Discount Furniture Studios to provide further in-game analysis. WBZ sports director Steve Burton will continue to provide sideline analysis, which will include interviews with Patriots players during the game for the first time in franchise history.
