Patriots and Raytheon to host more than 400 guests from Wounded Warrior Project

On November 21, when the Patriots host the Chiefs on Monday Night Football, the Patriots will team up with Raytheon to host more than 400 guests from the Wounded Warrior Project.

On November 21, when the Patriots host the Chiefs on Monday Night Football, the Patriots will team up with Raytheon to host more than 400 guests from the Wounded Warrior Project. Below are notes about the Patriots' only home primetime matchup this season and the activities surrounding it:

  • The Patriots and Raytheon have donated 300 tickets to the Wounded Warrior Project for injured service members and their guests to attend the game. Additionally, Raytheon will host more than 100 Wounded Warriors and their guests, providing pregame hospitality in The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon. The Wounded Warrior Project raises awareness and provides aid for severely injured service members. The Patriots and Raytheon are proud to recognize America's greatest volunteers, the men and women who serve in the military, as part of the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation's "Celebrate Volunteerism" initiative.
  • As part of the "Celebrate Volunteerism" initiative's week-long focus on hunger awareness, the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation will conduct a food drive at the game to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate. Collection bins will be at five locations outside the stadium: Patriot Place Plaza, the uBid Gate, the P10 parking crossover on Route 1 and the east and west entrances to the Putnam Club. The Foundation's season-long "Celebrate Volunteerism" initiative aims to share examples of dedicated volunteers and inspire Patriots fans to follow Myra Kraft's example of becoming a life-long volunteer.
  • 2011 Boston Music Awards Pop Rock Artist of the Year nominees Gentleman Hall will perform in Patriot Place Plaza at 7 p.m. as part of the pregame "Rock the Plaza" series. Brockton, Mass. native Jennifer Bradford will sing the national anthem prior to the game.
  • Due the the weeknight game, Gillette Stadium officials are advising fans to allow extra time to get to the stadium.
