David Patten on how the offense played today:
"We wanted to come out today and have a good showing. Basically offensively and defensively we played really well. I think that we played really but the main factor was the play of the entire team.
Patten on the play of the receivers on the young Eagle Cornerbacks:
" We felt that if we came out and ran our good reads we could throw the ball to those reads and we would not have to pick on one particular guy."
Richard Seymour On the play of the Eagles and of Donovan McNabb:
"You cannot get down on McNabb because he still is a very explosive quarterback. His best football is still a head of him. We just did a good job of containing him and not letting him get our of the pocket. We gave the offense of the Eagles a lot of different looks with lining up in the 3-4 and the 4-3's. We tried to do this to confuse them and a lot of guys stepped up and made plays."
Seymour on the Patriots play after their loss last weekend:
" We are focusing on the players that we have in our locker room and rallying on every one of us. No one else is going to win the game but the guys in this locker room and this is what we did today.
Joe Andruzzi on the play of the Patriots today after last weekend:
" I do not think there is one guy on this team that you could ask that wanted to come here today and play the way that we did last week. The Eagles had some guys hurt but this is the NFL and everyone has guys hurt. This is the kind of thing you have to deal with week to week. You have to just go out and play the best you can with the guys you have and that is why you have plenty of guys. That is why we have back up guys that will play when someone goes down. We as a team were really fired up for this game."
