FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The Patriots' exciting 30-23 victory Monday night secured their seventh straight season of 11-plus wins as they inched closer to securing a playoff berth. The victory reflected in both the local and national ratings as ESPN's Monday Night Football broadcast tied their highest-rated broadcast of the season and topped the weekly Boston television market once again.
Monday night's nationally televised broadcast delivered a household rating of 9.1 across 56 metered markets, an increase of five-percent from last year's Week 14 Monday Night Football broadcast (8.7 household rating). The 9.1 household rating tied for the highest Monday Night Football ratings of the season with Week 4 and Week 1, and is the best Week 14 Monday Night Football rating since 2013.
Additionally, the team continued its impressive streak of topping the weekly Boston market ratings for all 13 matchups this season. The Patriots will hit the road next Sunday as they travel to face the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The 4:25 p.m. ET broadcast will be televised locally on WBZ with Jim Nantz calling the play-by-play and accompanied by color commentary from Phil Simms.
