Patriots Sign Linebacker Harold Landry III

The New England Patriots announced today that they have signed linebacker Harold Landry III.

Landry, 28, is a veteran of seven NFL seasons with the Tennessee Titans after originally joining the team as a second-round draft pick (41st overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Boston College. The 6-foot-2, 252-pounder, was released by Tennessee on March 7, 2024. Landry played under head coach Mike Vrabel for his first six seasons in Tennessee.

Landry has played in 98 regular season games with 79 starts and has registered 393 total tackles, 50½ sacks, 2 interceptions, 12 passes defensed, 3 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries. In addition, he has played and started in five postseason games and has 23 total tackles and 4½ sacks. Landry earned Pro Bowl honors in 2021 after finishing with a team-leading 12 sacks. After missing the 2022 season due to injury, he returned to action and recorded his second double-digit sack total with 10½ sacks. Last season, Landry started in all 17 games and finished with 71 total tackles and 9 sacks.
