STATEMENT FROM ROBERT KRAFT
"Bill Bidwill was one of the first owners to reach out to me and welcome me into the league when I bought the Patriots in 1994. He was one of the longest-tenured owners in the league and I always appreciated his historical perspective and his love of the game. When it came to the game of football and the NFL, we were mostly like-minded and aligned. The only thing more important to him than his beloved Cardinals was his family and I know how proud he was of his children. On behalf of my family and the New England Patriots organization, we extend our sincerest sympathies to Bill's children, Michael, Bill Jr., Patrick, Tim and Nicole, as well as his grandchildren, and the many members of the Arizona Cardinals community who mourn his loss."
