FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced today that Stephen Gostkowski has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week following the Patriots Week 7 win over the New York Jets. It is the second time in 2015 that Gostkowski has been honored by the NFL. He was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for September.
Gostkowski converted all three extra points and all three field goal (38, 46 and 24) attempts in Sunday's 30-23 victory over the Jets at Gillette Stadium.
