Difference in one week in their offense and defense:
"I think we started to execute. We executed better. And certainly playing with a lead, we could take advantage of a lot of different situations. With your back against the wall, you don't have the full play book like we did last week. I know offensively and defensively we had a great game."
Capitalized on the two turnovers, did that make a difference in the game?
"Those are always critical. The more times you can possess the ball and the defense forcing those turnovers...that was huge for us. For us to really get out there and turn those into points and get a lead...I was really blessed especially coming off of last week. We came out this week and we were ready to go and we were just hoping we could jump up on them...gain the confidence we need especially against a team like the Eagles."
What makes TE Christian Fauria such an effective receiver for you:
"He always gets open. He is incredibly dependable and incredibly reliable as a rout runner. He has got great awareness. He is a huge asset to this offense. Whenever he is on the field, Christian always makes good plays. I wish I would have hit him more times than I did tonight, but whenever I'm out there, he is always the guy that I am looking out for."
Was the absence of FS Brian Dawkins and DB Bobby Taylor a big factor in tonight's game:
"Seeing those two guys on film...Brian Dawkins is the best in the league. He just adds so much to the team. I think a team as solid as this...I don't think it's as quite as reliable, although they are critical players on defense. They still have a pretty solid team."
What would you contribute your success to today?
"I think we had great field position. Our defense created great field position. We scored some points early off those turnovers to take the lead. We ended up scoring off that touchdown pass in the third quarter. At that point, we went up 17 points. At that point, they are running up hill. So, to capitalize on those turnovers, have great field position, then score in the third quarter."
Did you get last weeks' performance out of your head?
"I didn't sleep much this week. As a quarterback, a lot of times you take pride in winning football games. When the team doesn't win and you get defeated 31-0 AND you throw 4 interceptions AND get shut out in the first time in how many years...that's tough. At the same time, you need to have the confidence to believe in yourself."
