Retail Warehouse Staff will be responsible for receiving and fulfilling merchandise orders, shipment receipt and stocking, transferring items from the warehouse to the Pro Shop, and maintaining inventory. An attention to detail and providing excellent customer service will be required.
The wage is $8.00 per hour. The schedule is flexible with available hours of up to 40 a week. This is a seasonal position: No health insurance, vacation or retirement will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and pack merchandise orders by selecting product, placing it in the proper shipping container and sealing it upon order completion
- Print proper shipping labels and place them on their respective packages
- Properly organize inventory with attention to detail
- Possess a thorough knowledge of product description and location
- Transport and account for retail items taken to and from the warehouse and delivered to the Pro Shop
- Speak with customers over the phone about retail orders and their status
- Operate handcarts, dollies and other moving equipment
- Other duties as required and assigned Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have basic typing skills
- Must be able to pick up heavy or awkward sized objects
- Read and understand instructions written in English
- Comprehend verbal instructions in English
- Speak and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repetitively
- Ability to safely maneuver up and down flights of stairs/steps, repetitively
- Ability to maneuver within work spaces
- Ability to stock shelves with shelf height not to exceed 14 feet
- Ability to effectively work on multiple tasks
- Ability to fulfill mandated work hours
