FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced today that DL Mike Wright has been placed on injured reserve with a head injury.

Wright, 6-4, 295 pounds, played in 10 games with five starts and finished the season with 17 total tackles and a career-high 5.5 sacks. Wright originally joined the Patriots as a rookie free agent out of Cincinnati in 2005.
