FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced that they have re-signed exclusive rights free agent DB Brandon King.
King, 23, originally joined New England as a rookie free agent out of Auburn on May 8, 2015. The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder, began his rookie season on the practice squad before being signed to the 53-man roster on Oct. 20, 2015. King has played in 29 regular-season games and five postseason games in two seasons, mainly on special teams. He has 21 special teams tackles in the regular season and added four special teams tackles in the postseason.
