FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that WR Buddy Farnham has been signed as a rookie free agent.

Farnham, 6-0, 185 pounds, was named the Ivy League and New England Player of the Year last season as a senior at Brown. He completed the 2009 season with 1,003 receiving yards and 74 receptions. Farnham finished his college career with 229 receptions, sixth in the Ivy League record book, while his 2,895 career yards are seventh in Ivy League history.
