FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they have traded TE Jacob Hollister to the Seattle Seahawks. Terms of the trade were not announced.
Hollister, 25, is a veteran of two NFL seasons with New England after originally joining the team as a rookie free agent out of Wyoming in 2017. The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder, has played in 23 regular season games with two starts and has eight receptions for 94 yards. He saw limited snaps in his only postseason action in the AFC Divisional Playoff victory vs. Tennessee on Jan. 13, 2018. Last season, Hollister played in eight games with one start and finished with four receptions for 52 yards. He was placed on injured reserve on Jan. 8 and missed the postseason.
