• Son of Lynn Giles-Harris and John Harris.
• His father, John, lettered in football for three seasons at Southern Connecticut. His older brother, William, played four seasons (2009-12) as a linebacker at Gannon University, while his younger brother, J.T., was a four-year starter in lacrosse at Duke and currently plays in the Premier Lacrosse League.
• Majored in cultural anthropology.
