BOUNCING BACK

Since the beginning of 2003, the Patriots are 43-6 (.878) in regular season games following a loss. They have dropped back-to-back regular season games in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2015 (twice). As a starter in his career, Tom Brady is 43-10 in games following a loss. 

PATRIOTS HAVE THE BEST INTER-CONFERENCE RECORD SINCE 2002.

The New England Patriots own a 49-12 (.803) record vs. NFC teams since realignment in 2002, the best inter-conference record in the NFL during that time.

PATRIOTS SCORE ON FIRST THREE OFFENSIVE DRIVES

The Patriots scored on their first three offensive drives. The last time the Patriots scored in their first three offensive drives was in Week 17 of the 2016 season at Miami on Jan. 1, 2017.

THE PATRIOTS SCORE 30 FIRST HALF POINTS

The Patriots scored 30 first half points for a 30-19 lead. It is the 11th time in team history that the Patriots scored at least 30 first half points and the first time since scoring 38 first half points in a 51-23 win vs. Chicago on Oct. 26, 2014.

PATRIOTS EXTEND STREAK TO 9 STRAIGHT ROAD WINS

Last season, the Patriots finished the season with a perfect 8-0 road record. The Patriots 9-0 current road streak is second to the 12 straight road games the team won from Dec. 24, 2006, through Oct. 5, 2008. The Patriots 12-game road win streak is second in NFL history to the 18 road game win streak by the San Francisco 49ers (1988-90).

PATRIOTS CHALK UP 500 YARDS; SIXTH HIGHEST IN TEAM HISTORY

The Patriots finished with 555 offensive yards against New Orleans. It is the seventh time that the offense has reached 500 yards in total offense under Bill Belichick.

Bill Belichick won his 264th overall game as a head coach and now needs seven more wins to move past Tom Landry (270) into third place all-time, behind George Halas (324) and Don Shula (347).

BRADY INCHING CLOSER TO BECOMING REGULAR SEASON WINNER

While Brady is the all-time overall NFL leader with 209 career wins as a starting quarterback, Brady is one of three NFL quarterbacks with at least 180 regular season career wins, earning his 184th win against New Orleans. He is two regular season wins from tying Brett Favre and Peyton Manning and three wins away from becoming the all-time leader.

Tom Brady connected with RB Rex Burkhead on a 34-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. Brady has thrown a touchdown pass to 66 different players in the regular season, behind Vinny Testaverde who had 70.

BRADY THROWS THREE FIRST QUARTER TOUCHDOWNS FOR FIRST TIME

Tom Brady had three first quarter touchdowns for the first time in his career. He has thrown two touchdowns in the first quarter in nine games.

BRADY LEADS THE PATRIOTS TO 20 POINTS IN THE FIRST QUARTER

QB Tom Brady led the Patriots to 20 points in the first quarter, the most first quarter points with Brady as the starter and the most for the Patriots since scoring 21 points in the first quarter at Oakland on Dec. 14, 2008. Brady's previous best was 17 first quarter points on three different occasions, most recently on Dec. 17, 2006 vs. the New York Jets.

BRADY HAS CAREER HIGH FOR FIRST QUARTER PASSING YARDS

Brady threw a career-best 177 first quarter yards. His previous best was 151 first quarter yards vs. San Diego on Sept. 16, 20007.

TE Rob Gronkowski finished with six receptions for 116 yards for his 24th regular season 100-yard game. He is now tied with Kellen Winslow with 24 100-yard games, behind only Tony Gonzalez with 31 100-yard games among NFL tight end.

GRONKOWSKI SCORES FIRST TD OF 2017 ON A 53-YARD RECEPTION

TE Rob Gronkowski scored his first touchdown of the season on a 53-yard pass from QB Tom Brady in the first quarter. It is the 68th time that Brady and Gronkowski have connected on a touchdown pass. It is the second-most touchdown connections between a quarterback and a tight end in NFL history and the two moved out of a sixth-place tie with Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne.

GRONKOWSKI NOW HAS FOUR 50-YARD TOUCHDOWN PASSES;

SEVEN RECEPTIONS OF OVER 50 YARDS OVERALL

The 53-yard touchdown pass from Brady is Gronkowski's fourth 50-yard touchdown pass. He caught a career-log 76-yard touchdown at the New York Giants on Nov. 15, 2015, a 53-yard touchdown at Buffalo on Oct. 30, 2016, a 52-yard touchdown vs. Kansas City on Nov. 21, 2011.

RB JAMES WHITE HAS SECOND MOST RECEIVING YARDS

RB James White finished with 85 receiving yards, the second most of his career. He had 115 yards vs. Philadelphia on Dec. 6, 2015.

BURKHEAD CAUGHT HIS SECOND CAREER TOUCHDOWN PASS

RB Rex Burkhead was on the receiving end of a 34-yard touchdown pass from QB Tom Brady in the first quarter. It is his second NFL touchdown receptions. He caught a five-yard touchdown while with Cincinnati on Dec. 13, 2015 vs. Pittsburgh.

BURKHEAD SETS CAREER-HIGH IN RECEIVING YARDS

RB Rex Burkhead set career highs in receptions with 41 receiving yards. His previous best was 36 receiving yards at New Orleans on Nov. 16, 2014.

PHILLIP DORESETT HAS FIRST PATRIOTS CATCH

WR Phillip Dorsett had his first reception as a member of the Patriots on a 23-yard reception in the first quarter to give the Patriots a first down at the 16-yard line.

ROOKIE DEATRICH WISE, JR. WITH A SACK

Rookie DL Deatrich Wise, Jr. had a third quarter sack and now has had a sack in his first two NFL games.

ROOKIE TE JACOB HOLLISTER REGISERS FIRST NFL RECEPTION

Rookie TE Jacob Hollister had his first career reception on a five-yard reception from Tom Brady in the third quarter.

RB MIKE GILISLEE SCORES AGAIN

RB Mike Gilislee scored on a two-yard run in the second quarter. He scored three rushing touchdowns in the season-opener and is now the first Patriots player to score four touchdowns in his first two games with the team.
