PATRIOTS CAN WIN ON THE ROAD
Since the start of the 2000 season, the Patriots have the best regular-season road record in the NFL.
BOUNCING BACK AFTER A LOSS
Since the beginning of 2003, the Patriots are 41-6 (.872) in regular-season games following a loss. They have dropped back-to-back regular season games in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2015 (twice).
PATRIOTS ARE WICKED GOOD IN OCTOBER
The Patriots are an NFL-best 50-17 in the month of October since the 2000 season. The Patriots are 29-4 (.878) at home during that time in October and 21-12 on the road.
PATRIOTS DEFENSE HOLDS CLEVEAND RUSHING OFFENSE TO 27 YARDS
The Cleveland Browns entered the game first in the NFL in rushing with an average of 149.3 yards per game and were held to 27 yards rushing for a. 1.2-yard average. Browns RB Isaiah Crowell entered the game third in the NFL in rushing yards and was held 22 yards on 13 carries for a 1.7-yard average. The Patriots have held the opponent under 30 yards rushing 17 times in team history.
PATRIOTS HAVE TWO 100-YARD RECEIVERS
TE Rob Gronkowski (109) and WR Chris Hogan (114) both went over 100 yards receiving. It is 35th time in team history that has occurred and the first time since Oct. 26, 2014 vs. Chicago – Gronkowski (149) and Brandon LaFell (124).
PATRIOTS DEFENSE REGISTERS A SAFETY
The Patriots defense was credited with a safety when Cleveland QB Cody Kessler fumbled the ball out of the end zone in the first quarter. It is the Patriots first safety since being last season vs. Miami on Oct. 29, 2015, when QB Ryan Tannehill fumbled the ball out of the end zone.

The Patriots offense scored 30 points for the second time in 2016 with the 33-13 win against Cleveland. The Patriots went over 30 points in the 31-24 win vs. Miami on Sept. 18, 2016. The Patriots scored 30 or more points in a game seven times in 2015.

BELICHICK MOVES PAST CULRY LAMBEAU
Bill Belichick now has 227 career regular-season wins to move past Curly Lambeau (226) for fourth place overall. Belichick (250 wins overall) needs one more victory to join Don Shula (347) George Halas (324) and Tom Landry (270) as the only coaches to reach 250 career wins.

Tom Brady is now in his 17th season and is the longest tenured Patriots player, surpassing the 16 seasons by Steve Grogan (1975-1990). Brady's 17 seasons with one team are tied for the most by an NFL quarterback with John Brodie (San Francisco) and Dan Marino (Miami).

Brady won his 195th game overall, and needs six more wins to become the NFL's all-time leader.
BRADY GOES OVER 400 FOR 8TH TIME IN HIS CAREER
Brady finished 28-of-40 for 406 yards with three touchdowns. It is his eighth career 400-yard game and first since he passed for 466 yards at Buffalo on Sept. 20, 2015. Brady finished with his 72nd career 300-yard game in the regular season, third in NFL history to the 98 by Drew Brees and 93 by Peyton Manning. The patriots are 60-12 in games when Brady has at least 300 yards passing.

BRADY HAS BEST FIRST HALF PRODUCTION SINCE 2009
Brady was 18-of-25 for 271 yards with two touchdowns in the first half, his best first-half performance since he threw for 345 yards in the first half vs. Tennessee on Oct. 18, 2009. It is the sixth time in his career that he has thrown for at least 250 yards in the first half.
GRONK GOES OVER 100 YARDS; TIES GATES WITH 21 100-YARD GAMES
Gronkowski finished with his 21st career 100-yard game after catching 5 passes for 109 yards. He is now tied with Antonio Gates four the fourth-most 100-yard games by an NFL tight end.

BRADY COMPLETES FIRST TD PASS OF THE 2016 SEASON TO BENNETT
QB Tom Brady returned to the starting lineup. His first touchdown pass of the 2016 season was a 7-yard touchdown pass to TE Martellus Bennett in the first quarter. Brady has now thrown a touchdown pass to 61 different players in the regular season.
TE MARTELLUS BENNETT HAS FIRST THREE-TD GAME;THIRD MULIT-TD GAME
TE Martellus Bennett has his first three-touchdown day and the third NFL multi-touchdown game of his career. He caught a 7-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter, a 5-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter and a 37-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. Bennett had a two-touchdown performance vs. Minnesota (9-15-13) and at the New York Jets (9-22-14) while with the Chicago Bears. It marks the seventh time in Patriots history that a tight end has recorded a three-touchdown day. TE Rob Gronkowski has accomplished the feat three times. The last time the patriots had a tight end with three touchdowns was vs. Pittsburgh on Sept. 10, 2015.
WR CHRIS HOGAN HAS FIRST 100-YARD GAME;RECORDS LONGEST CAREER RECEPTION
WR Chris Hogan had a career day after recording his first 100-yard day of his career with four receptions for 114 yards. His previous best was 95 yards on Nov. 23, 2015, vs. New England when he was with Buffalo. His 63-yard pass from Tom Brady in the second quarter is also a career-best. His previous long was a 46-yard reception at Tennessee on Oct. 11, 2015, while with Buffalo.
MAlCOM BROWN REGISTERS FIRST TWO-SACK GAME OF HIS CAREER
DL Malcom Brown registered his first sack of the 2016 sack when he dropped Cleveland QB Charlie Whitehurst for a 9-yard loss in the third quarter. Brown recorded his second sack in the fourth quarter for a 5-yard loss. It is his first NFL two-sack game. As a rookie in 2015, Brown had three sacks.
S PATRICK CHUNG RECORDS FIRST INTERCEPTION OF THE YEAR
S Patrick Chung picked off a Cleveland QB Charlie Whitehurst pass in the third quarter for his first pick of the season. It is his first interception since Dec. 14, 2014 vs. Miami.

ROOKIE DL WOODROW HAMILTON MAKES HIS NFL DEBUT
2016 rookie free agent DL Woodrow Hamilton made his NFL debut and his first NFL start after being signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad the day before the game.
OL CAMERON FLEMING MAKES HIS FOURTH START OF THE SEASON; FIRST AT RIGHT TACKLE IN 2016
OL Cameron Fleming started at right tackle in place of Marcus Cannon, who was out with an injury. Fleming started the season-opener at Arizona at left tackle in place of Nate Solder and started two games as a tackle-eligible tight end vs. Miami and vs. Houston.
