PATRIOTS FINISH THE MONTH OF OCTOBER UNDEFEATED;
PATRIOTS NOW HAVE 25 UNDEFEATED MONTHS SINCE 2000
The Patriots finished the month of October with a 4-0 record and now have 25 undefeated months since 2000. It is the most undefeated months in the NFL over that span. Indianapolis is second with 15 undefeated months during that time.

The Patriots are an NFL-best 61-18 in the month of October since the 2000 season.
PATRIOTS ARE THE BEST IN THE FIRST HALF SINCE 2000
The New England Patriots are an NFL best 107-45 in the first half of the season since Bill Belichick took over as head coach in 2000. New England closed out the first half of 2018 with a 6-2 record.
PATRIOTS START 6-2 OR BETTER FOR 17th TIME IN TEAM HISTORY
The Patriots are off to a 6-2 record or better for the 17th time in team history and for the sixth straight season. Under Bill Belichick, the Patriots have started the season with a 6-2 record or better 12 times. (1974, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1999, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018).
PATRIOTS IMPROVE TO 2-0 IN AFC EAST ACTION;
HAVE TOP DIVISIONAL RECORD SINCE 2001
The New England Patriots own an 83-23 (.783) record in regular season AFC East games since the beginning of the 2001 season, compiling the best intra-division record of any team in the NFL.
THE PATRIOTS HAVE FORCED AT LEAST ONE TURNOVER IN THE FIRST EIGHT GAMES OF 2018
LB Kyle Van Noy forced a fumble on a 7-yard sack in the third quarter that was recovered by S Patrick Chung. The Patriots have now had at least one turnover in the first eight games of the season. It is the first time since 2013 that the Patriots have a takeaway in each of the first eight games of the season.
PATRIOTS HOLD BUFFALO TO JUST SIX POINTS ON TWO FIELD GOALS
The Patriots defense held Buffalo to just six points on two field goals. It is the 30th time under Bill Belichick that the Patriots have held their opponent without a touchdown.
PATRIOTS HOLD BUFFALO TO 99 TOTAL FIRST HALF YARDS
The Patriots held the Bills to 99 total net yards in the first half. The last time they held an opponent under 100 yards in the first half on the road was October 11, 2015 at Dallas (60 yards)
PATRIOTS HAVE RECORDED AN INTERCEPTION IN ALL EIGHT GAMES IN 2018
The Patriots defense has recorded an interception in all eight games of 2018, the first time the team has done so in eight straight games since 2013 when they did it in eight consecutive games. The Patriots team record for most consecutive games with an interception to start a season was in 1985 with at least one interception in the first 11 games of the season. The Patriots team record for most consecutive games with an interception is 12 games in 2003.
THE PATRIOTS RETURN A PICK FOR A TD
DB Devin McCourty returned a fourth quarter interception 84 yards for a touchdown. It is the first interception returned for the Patriots since DB Tavon Wilson returned a pick 76 yards for a touchdown at Baltimore on Dec. 22, 2013. It is the first defensive score for the Patriots since LB Jamie Collins returned a fumble for a touchdown at the New York Jets on Dec. 27, 2015.

BELICHICK BECOMES THIRD NFL COACH WITH 100 WINS AGAINST DIVISION OPPONENTS
Bill Belichick earned his 100th win against a division opponent with the win against Buffalo, including his 85th division win as head coach of the Patriots. He joins Don Shula and Tom Landry as the third NFL coach to reach 100 wins in division play.
BRADY IMPROVES TO 29-3 AGAINST BUFFALO
Brady owns a 29-3 record against the Buffalo Bills. His 29 wins against Buffalo are most ever by a quarterback against a single team.
BRADY TAKES SOLE POSSESSION OF THIRD FOR MOST REGULAR SEASON WINS
The victory over Buffalo is Brady's 202nd career regular season win. He moved out of a tie with Gary Anderson and into sole possession of third place on the all-time list.
BRADY GOES OVER 300 YARDS FOR FOURTH TIME IN 2018
Tom Brady threw for over 300 yards for the fourth time this season after finishing with 324 yards. He is third all-time with 85 career 300-yard games. The Patriots are 71-14 when he goes over 300 yards.
RB JAMES WHITE TIES CAREER HIGH IN RECEPTIONS
RB James White tied a career high with 10 receptions. It is the fourth time that he has had 10 receptions in a game and the second time in 2018. He had 10 receptions in the win vs. Indianapolis (10/4). He also had 10 receptions vs. Carolina on Oct. 1, 2017 and 10 vs. Philadelphia on Dec. 6, 2015. He set a Super Bowl record with 14 receptions in Super Bowl LI.
WHITE ON RECORD-SETTING PACE
RB James White has 55 receptions in 2018 and is on pace to finish the season with 110 receptions. Eight NFL running backs have finished a season with 90 or more receptions.
JAMES WHITE REACHES 50 RECEPTIONS IN FIRST EIGHT GAMES;

RB James White has 55 receptions through the first eight games of the season. An NFL running back has reached at least 50 receptions in the first eight games nine times now.
WHITE PASSES SAM CUNNINGHAM FOR THIRD-MOST RECEPTIONS BY A PATS RUNNIGN BACK
RB James White passed Sam Cunningham for the third-most receptions by a Patriots running back.
DB DEVIN MCCOURTY HAS FIRST INTERCEPTION RETURNED FOR A TD;
SECOND NFL TD OF CAREER
DB Devin McCourty returned a fourth quarter interception 84 yards for a touchdown. It is his first interception returned for a touchdown. It is the 9th longest in team history. McCourty scored his first touchdown on a 104-yard kickoff return vs. the New York Jets on Oct. 21, 2012.
EDELMAN GOES OVER 100
WR Julian Edelman went over 100 yards receiving for the first time in 2018 and for the 10th time in his career. He finished with nine receptions for 105 yards.
LB KYLE VAN NOY HAS SECOND CAREER TWO-SACK GAME
LB Kyle Van Noy had his second two-sack game of his career. He had his first two-sack game at the New York Jets on Oct, 15, 2017. He forced a fumble on a 6-yard sack in the third quarter that was recovered by S Patrick Chung and led to a field goal.
WR CORDARRELLE PATTERSON SETS CAREER-HIGH IN RUSHING ATTEMPTS
WR Cordarrelle Patterson set a single-game high with his 10 rushing attempts. His previous best was three rushing attempts. He has done that five times, most recently in the 2018 season-opener vs. Houston. He finished with 10 rushing attempts for 38 yards.
FB JAMES DEVELIN SETS CAREER-HIGH FOR RECEPTIONS IN A SEASON
FB James Develin set a career-high with his seventh reception of the season. He had six receptions in 2014 and 2017.

TE Rob Gronkowski returned to action after missing the game at Chicago due to injury.
T LAADRIAN WADDLE MAKES SECOND STRAIGHT START AT RIGHT TACKLE
T LaAdrian Waddle made his second straight start at right tackle in place of the injured Marcus Cannon. It was his third overall start of the season.
DL JOHN SIMON RETURNS TO ACTION
DL John Simon returned to action after missing two games due to injury. He made his first start as a member of the Patriots.
DEATRICH WISE JR MAKES THE START
DL Deatrich Wise Jr. made his first start of the season. As a rookie in 2017, he made three starts.
