FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced that they have re-signed DB Nate Ebner, who was an unrestricted free agent. Terms of the contract were not announced.
Ebner, 27, is a veteran of four seasons with the Patriots after originally joining the team as a sixth-round draft pick (197th overall) out of Ohio State in the 2012 NFL Draft. The 6-foot, 220-pounder, has played in 57 regular-season games primarily on special teams and has registered double-digit special teams tackles every year. Overall, he has accumulated 50 special teams tackles, including 11 special teams tackles in 15 games played last season.
