Patriots sign second-year DB Vinnie Sunseri and rookie free agent OL Kyler Kerbyson

The Patriots announced that they have signed second-year DB Vinnie Suneri and rookie free agent OL Kyler Kerbyson.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they have signed second-year DB Vinnie Suneri and rookie free agent OL Kyler Kerbyson.

Sunseri, 24, was originally drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round (167th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Alabama. As a rookie last year, he played in nine games and finished with one defensive tackle before finishing the season on injured reserve. Sunseri was released by the Saints on April 25, 2016.

Kerbyson, 23, was a two-year starter for Tennessee. The 6-foot-4, 317-pounder, started at left tackle in all 13 games in 2015 and starting at right tackle, left tackle and left guard as a Junior in 2014. He was named to the All-SEC AP Second Team following his senior season.
