FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that G Michael Jordan has been elevated to the active roster from the practice squad. In addition, T Chukwuma Okorafor has been placed on the Exempt/Left Squad.
Jordan, 26, was elevated to the active roster last week and started at left guard in the season-opening victory at Cincinnati. The 6-foot-6, 315-pounder, was signed by New England to a futures contract on Jan. 24, 2024. He originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round draft pick (136th overall) by Cincinnati in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. He has played with Cincinnati (2019-20), Carolina (2021-22) and then spent the 2023 season on the Green Bay practice squad. Overall, he has played in 56 games with 30 starts.
Okorafor, 27, was signed by New England as a free agent on March 11, 2024. The 6-foot-6, 320-pounder, originally entered the NFL as a third-round draft pick (92nd overall) by Pittsburgh in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Western Michigan. He has played in 78 NFL games with 60 starts during his career.
