FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that DT Trysten Hill and G Michael Jordan have been elevated to the active roster from the practice squad.
Hill, 26, originally was drafted by Dallas in the second-round (58th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Central Florida. The 6-foot-3, 310-pounder played with Dallas and Arizona in 2022 and spent part of the 2023 season on the practice squads of Cleveland and New England. Overall, he has played in 32 games with five starts and has 39 total tackles and 1½ sacks. He was elevated to the active roster for the game vs. Buffalo on Oct. 22 last season and saw limited action on defense. Hill was released by New England on Aug. 28 and signed to the practice squad on Aug. 29.
Jordan, 26, was signed by New England to a futures contract on Jan. 24, 2024. The 6-foot-6, 315-pounder, originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round draft pick (136th overall) by Cincinnati in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. He has played with Cincinnati (2019-20), Carolina (2021-22) and then spent the 2023 season on the Green Bay practice squad. Overall, he has played in 55 games with 29 starts.
