FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots signed six players to the practice squad today: DE Brevin Allen, G Jerome Carvin, DT Trysten Hill, OL Bryan Hudson, G Michael Jordan and WR Jalen Reagor. Hill, Jordan and Reagor were with New England and were released yesterday.
Allen, 23, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the L.A. Chargers on May 12, 2023 out of Campbell. The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder, was released at the end of training camp and was signed to the practice squad. Allen was elevated to the active roster for the first two games of the season, making his NFL debut vs. Miami on Sept. 10. He was released by the Chargers on May 14, 2024 and was signed by Green Bay on Aug. 7, 2024, before being released on Aug. 27, 2024.
Carvin, 23, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Kansas City on May 6, 2023 out of Tennessee. The 6-foot-3, 308-pounder, was released by Kansas City at the end of training camp before being signed to the Chicago practice squad on Jan. 1, 2024. He was released by Chicago on Aug. 26, 2024.
Hudson, 23, was signed by Detroit as a rookie free agent out of Louisville on May 10, 2024. The 6-foot-5, 301-pounder, was released by Detroit on Aug. 26, 2024. He played in 60 games with 41 at center, guard and tackle during his five-year college career.
